Black Swan State Theatre Company | Partnerships in Focus

Perth’s state theatre company continues to grow corporate and philanthropic revenue in support of its core objectives, year on year.

Founded in 1991, Black Swan has earned acclaim for its world premiere productions and highly distinctive reinterpretations of international theatre classics, and for its focus  on artist development and broadening access and engagement with West Australian communities.

Black Swan’s Private Giving Circles have been a huge success, encouraging donors to share and support their specific passions with like minded individuals to make a collective impact.

We spoke with General Manager Natalie Jenkins, Founder and Patron Janet Holmes a Court AC and donor Nic Christodoulou about the company’s fundraising approach, private giving circles, and why partnerships between the arts and donors, philanthropists and business are so important.
