- What are the Creative Partnerships Awards?
The Creative Partnerships Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to Australia’s cultural life by leaders who have fostered enduring partnerships between the cultural and private sectors and encouraged the spirit of giving to the arts.
- What awards are being given out?
The following awards will be presented at the Creative Partnerships Awards in 2020: the Arts Leadership Award, Business Leadership Award, Emerging Philanthropy Leadership Award and the Philanthropy Leadership Award.
- When are you announcing the winners?
At the Creative Partnerships Awards ceremony in the second half of 2020. Exact date and location will be announced soon.
- Who can nominate for an award?
Anyone can nominate an individual or individuals for the Creative Partnerships Awards.
- Who is eligible for an award?
The Creative Partnerships Awards are open to all individuals from all Australian states and territories, showing leadership in private giving, philanthropy, arts partnership and arts investment across the fields of arts, philanthropy and business.
- How does the nominations process work?
Nominations are open to the public. We encourage everyone, particularly those from arts, business and philanthropic sectors, to nominate leaders in all four categories.
The awards are open to all individuals from all Australian states and territories, showing leadership in private giving, philanthropy, arts partnerships and arts investment across the fields of arts, philanthropy and business.
You can nominate up to one person in each category across, one, several or all categories.
Winners will be determined by the Creative Partnerships Australia Board.
The Creative Partnerships Awards will be presented to individuals at a ceremony in 2020.
- Do I need to prepare any additional materials for my nomination?
Nominating someone for an award is easy – simply answer a few questions against the awards criteria and your nominee will be in the running.
Nominators are expected to outline the achievements and impact of their nominee as per the awards criteria. Links and additional information can be uploaded to the nomination form.
Nominators must also provide their contact details should we require any further information on their submission.
- Can I nominate myself for an award?
No. The Creative Partnerships Awards celebrates leadership and advocacy, and these qualities are most appropriately acknowledged and recognised by peers, colleagues and community members.
- Can I nominate someone I work with for an award?
Yes. We encourage you to nominate colleagues you believe meet our awards eligibility and criteria.
- How are the winners selected?
Winners are determined by the Creative Partnerships Australia Board.
- Can I nominate in more than one category?
Yes, you can nominate in as many categories as you like, but you can only nominate one individual per category.
- Can I nominate more than one person?
You can nominate only one individual per category, but you can nominate in as many categories as you like.
- Will you have state and national awards like you have in previous years?
No, however the awards being presented are open to individuals from all states and territories.
- Can I attend the awards event?
Creative Partnerships Australia invites arts and business leaders, stakeholders, clients, affiliates and government partners to attend the awards ceremony.
