Registrations for our online Fundamentals of Arts Fundraising workshop are now open to organisations and individuals based in Greater Sydney or Canberra.
The Fundamentals of Arts Fundraising is designed for arts professionals who want to learn the foundations of arts philanthropy and sponsorship or those looking to refresh their knowledge.
This workshop is perfect for:
- Arts professionals who want to learn the basics of arts fundraising, philanthropy and sponsorships
- Arts professionals with some fundraising experience and knowledge;
- Board members of arts organisations interested in diversifying their organisation’s income streams
What you’ll get:
The workshop will be delivered via Zoom over two 150-minute sessions. You will need to be available to attend both sessions.
Tuesday 13 October 10:00am – 12:30pm, and
Tuesday 20 October 10:00am – 12:30pm

- Building a case for support
- Fundraising strategies
- Developing a fundraising plan
The cost for attending the workshop is $50.00 +GST. Zoom details will be emailed one week before the event, along with pre-reading.
This is a chance to connect with your peers and learn from your Creative Partnerships State Manager for NSW and ACT, Este Darin-Cooper, who will provide local perspective, case studies and insights on how to implement what you’ve learned.
This workshop will be focused on organisations in Greater Sydney and Canberra, in metro or outer-metro settings, with preference given to those registering participants.
A workshop focused on NSW and ACT organisations in regional settings will take place in late November 2020. Please contact us to be notified when registrations open for this workshop.
About the presenter:
Este is passionate about growing investment in the Australian cultural sector and building sustainable, effective and resilient organisations. She has been deeply connected to the arts and funding community as a board member, coach, adviser, philanthropist and advocate.
Este’s career spans law, technology, social investment and the arts and is the co-founder and director of her own philanthropic foundation that invests in the arts. As part of this, she has built collaborative partnerships with the arts sector, designed innovative investments in cultural organisations, and been a leader in next-generation philanthropy.
She participated in the 2019 Arts Leaders program through the Australia Council for the Arts, is a board director of Force Majeure and serves on the Atelier Council at AGNSW.
